Day 2: Birthday fun in Adelaide

Today is Hayley's birthday! So we decided to have a relaxing day seeing the sights of Adelaide. We started in the morning with a trip to the botanical gardens, including going into a cool indoor jungle thing!


Next we drove to the beautiful beach at Glenelg where fish, chips and cold rock ice cream were the flavour of the day!

Then it was to Hahndorf, the old German town to the east of the Adelaide hills. We loved this place - heaps of gorgeous buildings, shops and cafes :)

On our way back to town we took a scenic detour which resulted in some stunning views (but unphotographed - no room to pull over) down on to the city, suburbs and sea beyond!

After a short rest we went out for Thai before meeting some of my Osteo mates for a drink.
