Day 8: Esperance

Cape Le Grand is the key attraction in Esperance - its a national park about 40km east of the township. It didn't take long to realise why! First we visited Lucky Bay, which is supposedly one of/the greatest beach in AUS. I don't know if i personally agree thats its the greatest, but it's pretty darn perfect!... (again wind being the mood killer)...

Yes! We saw kangaroos on the beach! Jealous?!



There was also Thistle Bay (my favourite) and Hellfire Bay.

And lastly the Cape Le Grand beach. Here is another national park entrance booth, showing that you can not only access the park via inland road as we did, but also via the beach! the sand is so fine here it condenses really firmly, so the 4WD's had no trouble at all driving for mils along the coast. Seeing this definatley makes me feel like I'm in WA now :D
