Roadtrip to Exmouth: Day 4. Charles Knife Canyon and Exmouth Gulf

Today we left Coral Bay for Exmouth. On the way are some STUNNING gorges - we had no idea what to expect but they blew our minds. Here are some completely understated photos from Charles Knife gorge:
On the road we found our first emu of the trip!
After spending a day hanging around Exmouth (getting a new spare tyre, stocking up on food and waiting to hear word of a place at our preferred campsite), we went to the Lighthouse to watch the sunset. From here we saw dozens of Whales in the distance :)

Then we went closer to the ocean, at a turtle nesting area (none around at this time of year).

That evening we cooked up a storm with some local seafood and camped at the Yardie Homestead caravan park, about 10 km from the entrance to Cape Range national park.
