Day 16: Edinburgh to Copenhagen

The usual kinda transit day: pack, walk, bus, another bus, plane, train, walk, collect key, check in, unpack. Landed to a really hot day here, so everyone was outdoors soaking it up. such a rare and hot summer all over Europe so it seems. And by chance the hottest day is always the day I arrive. In Paris, London, Edinburgh, now Copenhagen (and I'm writing this from Berlin, which was 37 on arrival so yep there too... maybe I'm causing the heat wave!)...

On the walk to my new house I passed through Copenhagen cemetery. Couldn't resist this one for a photo... Horneman!

Turns out the area I'm in is pretty funky, lots of cafes and some cute shops but also lots of people about my age... Who sit on their balconies playing music and chatting till all hours. It wasn't too loud though, actually felt quite festive and stopped sharp by midnight. Luckily for me, it was fun tunes, people here seem to love playing all my favourite 90s pop songs on a regular basis!....

My newest home:

Nice to learn early on that the Danes really live up to their names with knives... Always super sharp and perfect for the occasion :) started of with a burger and a local pilsner....
